Thursday 13th May Meeting

Very nearly done.

We need to take away the instructions line on the shows page for if it is IE7 browser

Steven will put together a powerpoint for the presentation tomorrow.

• Research (Sam): Going to the show, talking to client/riders, looking at different riding club websites, JQuery/PHP seeing what we can do with these codes.
• Design (Stephan): All did some designs and we took the best parts from each one, Sam's initial design was developed by Stephan, showed client 5 or 6 different designs.
• Teamwork + Collaberation (Seven): Used a continuous feed on facebook, Used Dropbox - explain what this is and how it works.
• Problems (Daryl): All current websites were poor so had no inspiration, kept over writing each other on dropbox, facebook misunderstandings, four different people having four different ideas was sometimes difficult, IE7, JQuery + Flash file types, Client didnt like the website as it was in a foreign Language??!
• Go Through the website.

Need to gain feedback, test the site in different browsers and W3C

Friday 7th May Meeting

Problems with the website at the moment are:

In IE7:

• The (jquery) shows page does'nt work
• The flash gallery teaser on the index page does'nt work
• The bottom of the About page does'nt show
• Admin edit options are not not displaying correctly
• The hover on the navigation does'nt work

In IE8:

• The Flash on the About page does'nt work
• The Flash teaser does'nt work

Fixes:

• The shows page can be fixed with an if statement in the CSS (if IE7 etc)
• Gallery teaser can be fixed by putting in a pre-loader
• The 360 Flash in the Abouts page also needs a pre-loader
• Admin problem ansd Hover problem we need to check the naming for the Flash
• Admin edit section can be sorted with the CSS
